Dorothy, based in the beautiful Lake District, is a highly respected and experienced interior designer. She has top end clients here in the U.K and internationally, and she also sources fine furnishings and interior products.

PASSEMENTERIE WORKSHOP AT CRAFT IN THE BAY

Looking ahead to February [anything to forget the dark, dank doom that is January], I will be teaching a woven passementerie workshop at Craft In Bay Cardiff, 5-6 Feb. So come and learn a new skill, but you better get your clogs on as there are only a couple of spaces left. The workshop is being run in conjunction with The Warp And Weft exhibition, 8 Jan-20 Feb, which is showing at the same venue. 

This exhibition explores contemporary woven textiles and features such weave deities as Ann Sutton and Peter Collingwood. The exhibition was curated by Laura Thomas, who has recently set up The Warp and Weft Blog- a must for anyone of the weave persuasion.

MARY'S LIVING AND GIVING SHOP

Mary Portas will be opening her 3rd shop for Save The Children in London's chi-chi Primrose Hill. Once again Jessica Light Trims and Tassels have donated products along with other designers such as Nina Campbell. The doors open on Saturday 18th December at 11am for mince pies and designer bargains not to be missed.
